Día Mundial de Circo
Juhudi Arts Centre está encantado de representar a Kenia en el marco del Día Mundial del Circo! Estos jóvenes que van a ver provienen de zonas pobres de Kenia. Pero cuando disfrutan de las habilidades de circo, se unen a una rica tradición de las artes del circo.
El estar en el circo hace que estos niños formen parte de una comunidad internacional! El circo es una forma de arte que conecta a personas de todo el mundo. De hecho, el circo conecta a estos niños al mundo. No sólo el circo les dá la oportunidad de presentarse en eventos como este, el circo puede ser su billete para trabajar en cualquier lugar del mundo.
Mientras que están aprendiendo la disciplina de circo, también adquieren la dignidad de ser un artista y a su vez, llegar a disfrutar y tener el placer de ser niños. Esperamos que al mostrar la forma en que se apoyan mutuamente y desafian la gravedad, estos niños pueden inspirar a otros a trabajar juntos y hacer lo que parecía imposible.
En honor al Día Mundial de Circo, los hijos de Juhudi Urban Arts Center saludan a la labor de las Naciones Unidas para mantener la paz y la seguridad, el desarrollo de relaciones amistosas entre las naciones y de promover el progreso social, mejores niveles de vida y los derechos humanos.

World Circus Day
Juhudi Urban Arts Centre is thrilled to be representing Kenya as part of World Circus Day! These young people you see performing here are from poor parts of Kenya. But when they learn circus skills, they join a rich tradition of circus arts.
Being in the circus makes these children part of an international community! Circus is an art form that connects people from around the world. In fact, circus connects these children TO the world. Not only does circus give them the opportunity to perform at events like this, circus can be their ticket to work anywhere in the world.
While they are learning the discipline of circus, they also gain the dignity of being a performer and they still get to have the fun of being children. We hope by showing how they support each other and defy gravity, these children can inspire others to work together and do the seemingly impossible.
In honor of World Circus Day, the children of Juhudi Urban Arts salute the work of the United Nations to maintain peace and security, to develop friendly relations among nations and to promote social progress, better living standards and human rights.
